Re: WorkCentre 7755, force copy to b/w

adny-d,

Kimzi is correct - you need to configure those settings at the machine - not the Web Interface just yet.

Thank you,
Jordan

Re: WorkCentre 7755, force copy to b/w

would these settings be located under Services > Copy > Color: Black/White while logged in as Admin? Because changing this resets to Auto Detect when the Admin is logged out. I also checked under General settings but did not see an explicit "Copy > Color: Black/White" setting. I've been reading the included manual but it does not go into setting the copy color to b/w.

Re: WorkCentre 7755, force copy to b/w

hi, you need to change the copy setttings on the lachine itself

xerox is changing the firmwares though to change it trough the centreware, like the 75xx model for example, but the 77xx is not yet ready for it

WorkCentre 7755, force copy to b/w

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We have a Xerox WorkCentre 7755 running software ver. 061.090.221.30100, we want to set it so users who make copies on the machine are defaulted to black and white, as 99/100 of our copies are not going to be used in an official capacity.

In the Centreware manager I can set it to default print to b/w but nothing within the manager displays information about copy settings, outside of how many can be made at once. Is this a limitation of this hardware, an outdated OS, or am I just doing it wrong?
