I called Xerox yesterday with problem of not being able to scan to email. After they tried some troubleshooting they figured out our system was out of date (hadn't been updated since 2013) I have since updated the software to 073.010.008.05210
But I still cannot scan to email. When we email It acts like it will work then eventually the whole process will time out and it will print and SMTP Transfer report that says "One or more messages were not sent. Devoce could not transfer messages to the sending mail server (SMTP). See your System administator."
We are trying to use the gmail account we've used before they changed the SMTP port yesterday to 587. I have updated the password several times and nothing will work.
I have been on hold for a Xerox Representative for 2 hours now.......
That amazing rep you held for managed to fix it right?
Assuming you are in Hawaii and that it got fixed by using Enable Less Secure Apps in Gmail.
