The NVM parameters are available just for the techs in Diagnostic Mode.

normally if you change the machine language , fax reports are also printed in that language

although there seems to be a bug pressent, that doesnt change the NVM value

it can be fixed by changing the NVM manually : 

NVM Location 200-044

Set 200-044 to:

0 = FrenchCanadian

1 = English

2 = Danish

3 = Swedish
4 = InternationalSpanish

5 = German

6 = Italian

7 = USEnglish

8 = Dutch

9 = Portuguese

10 = Norwegian

11 = Finnish

12 = French

13 = Brazilian

14 = Greek

15 = Czech

16 = Polish

17 = Hungarian,
18 = Romanian

19 = Turkish

20 = Russian

21 = SimplifiedChinese,
22 = TraditonalChinese

23 = Korean

24 = Japanese

25 = Catalan

I retracted my previous statement, it was incorrect. (But left it as a reminder of the time I was wrong on the internet)

I don't know the answer to your question though, so it is probably still a service tech matter with NVM settings if it is indeed just on fax reports.

If you select the physical button that says Language to the right of the touch screen, it will do as stated above...

But...

<login to the copier as admin> and go to Machine Status > Tools > Device Settings > General > Language / Keyboard Selection and change it there, even though it is the identical screen, it will apply to everything system wide except the built in webpage.

But if yours is all in one language including the configuration report, yet the fax confirm is in another, then it would be a tech because something is broken

The UI language is the only thing you can change at the device.

The internal Webpage (CWIS) and every report (Fax confirm, print banner, error sheets, Configuration report) use the System language, which is set via an NVM, so a tech needs to do it.

Hi,

is it possible to change FAX confirmation report language on a WorkCentre 7835?

A tecnician had to reload the whole software and after that we upgraded it to the latest firmware available.

The problem is that the machine prints FAX confirmation report in english instead of the current ui language.

Is this a known issue? Is it possible to change it?
