You can't see SMB on a config sheet or any other report.
It supports all 3. If you need documentation stating that you can call Xerox and go through to Engineering to see if they would be willing to document it, or you can simply do a Wireshark trace of a scan from the printer and see it negotiate through them with your server (Assuming it supports all 3)
Thank you for your reply. I understand the supported SMB versions but I cannot find anywhere on the settings to see the actual version installed. I copied the information below from the Configuration Report, Software Versions. Is there anyway by looking at the information below to see what version of SMB I may have?
|Copy Controller OS:||073.008.15000|
|Network Controller OS:||073.008.15000|
They support SMBv1 and SMBv2 and SMBv3.
Occasionally things get added to fix compatability/bugs, so latest firmware is advised.
SMB Supported versions (The 7836 is an oddity for documentation, just refer to the 7835, the only difference I know is the 7836 did not get processed for Airprint certification, everything else should be the same)
how do you check what version of SMB is installed on a WorkCentre EC7856?
