Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for Jams in Tray 1 and pay particular attention to the second solution listed,  you may need to replace the rollers.  If this continues please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Workcenter 6505 Copy Issues

My office uses the Workcentre 6505 machine and recently we began having issues with the copy option.  Fax and scanning are showing no problems.  When we copy even a single sheet that requires more than one copy, the system will print two copies, then stop, saying to load the tray (which IS loaded WITH the proper paper), but then instead of continuing the project, it will restart the printing and then stop after two copies.

 

The error history report claims it to be a Tray1 Misfeed JAM, but nothing is jammed (checked many times), there is no misfeed as the paper is loaded correctly, and there is no reason for the copier not to continue with the project instead of starting over.

 

Any ideas?
