Hi, I am new to the complexity of configuring this workcentre to scan documents to the staff members PCs. I have installed & configured the PCL6 Driver for all machines and we are printing with no issues VIA the network. All computers are running Windows 7 Pro. However, I am unable to find any sort of scan utility for Windows 7 with this WC 5638 model...Is there something else I can download from the support & drivers page to help me to configure network scanning to each computer in the office? Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Scan to file or Network scan is a purchasable option for the machine. Please make sure you have the option installed then take a look at the solution for setting up Network Scan with SMB or FTP. If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I would also recommened setting up Network scanning going to either a server or directly to a share on the desktop.
