Thank you for using the Support Forum. Yes in order to clone the machine will need to be on the same version of software.  Please see the steps for cloning for additional information. Please double check your setup of the LDAP using these steps to makes sure you have everything set correctly.  If this information does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Workcentre 5855 scan to email issue --- not finding names in netwrok address book

Our office has different models of  Xerox workcentres. Our newer models are 5855s. In my offcie this model is running on software version:

We have received few more 5855s in another branch which are running on software version: (looks like the latest version). I tried to clone these new machines by using the clone file from the machine in my office. Looks like cloing is not working. Is it due to different versions of software?

So I had to manually update SMTP server and LDAP information in these machines. Now Email option is enabled but when you try to serach user name in Network address book, it is not finding it. I will appreciate your help to resolve this issue.
