hi, you need to enable the software upgrade security setting first, see below

but be carefull, upgrading firmware on 65xx / 66xx machines resets the machine to factory defaults!

Go into tools / system settings / system settings / common settings / other settings / page 2 and enabled software download

thanks for the file.  I tried to upgrade the firmware via USB.  Unfortunately, i got Protection Error "016-741".  I lookup the description of the error and it is "Unable to move to download mode".  Please help...  thanks

I just started to use the 6505DN a few days ago and the machine never able to wake from sleep.  The only way is to power off and power on again.  Is there any solution for this?

I also like to upgrade the firmware as some said this may fix the powersave issue but I couldn't locate any firmware update from the download page. The firmware section only say xerox recommends network administration to perform the firmware upgrade.  So where can I download the firmware?
