Re: Workcentre 7225 - Color-scanned image has a blue layer over it

Hi,

There is a calibration mode in Tools/Troubleshooting, but it is recommended to be done after cleaning the entire optical system (under the glass). And if this not solve your issue, maybe it is needed to upgrade system software, or to verify NVM, or even replacing the IIT PWB.

Workcentre 7225 - Color-scanned image has a blue layer over it

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello, can anyone help me with this issue? The scanned images always have a blue layer if scanned in color and sometimes a greyish one if in black & white (or in gray scale). I tried everything in vein, from changing contract/brightness to cleaning the glass etc. The attached is a scanned white paper and as you see, it's all in blue... When the original doc has some text, you see it under the blue layer... As the workcentre 7225 doesn't allow white-balance tuning/calibration by users, I don't know what else to do...
