Hi greyso,
This post will get you working. Not the same model, but the solution is the same
Thank you for your response. I'll have to check. I have been doing everything from the manual. How do I set that up? Why won't the device pull in IP's from DHCP?
Again, thank you!
Hi Greyso,
I dont think you will get scan to Email working on this device as Gmail requires SSL encryption, you will have to scan locally to a shared folder do you have the Scan to PC option enabled?
We received a Workcentre Pro 128. Downloaded the drivers and use it with old laptop with Windows XP. No disc came with it but I downloaded one of the drivers to make it work from xerox site and the printing works perfectly.
The scan works and tries to put it out to my gmail account but it stays at 0% and times out. I tried to allow the DHCP to set the tcp/ip values but it seemed to freeze while looking for the values. I set it back to manual and it automatically put in the values and I can print. It will not scan to email or to PC though.
Is there anything that tells how to do this? I read system admin guide...everything seems to be right. Is the gmail setting and that it is an older printer etc? Please, please help! Thank you.
