Workflow Scanning

We have since a few days the following problem on all our Xerox 7830.

The workflow scanning does not work anymore and we receive the following error message: Remote directory lock failed

We have following Printservers: Windows Server 2008 R2

Our Printers have the following firmware installed:

All was working fine till around two, three weeks and we run differnet investigations on our network, but all without success.

Firewalls do not block anything between printer and printserver (where the Scan_to_folder is located).

Account with which we run the scans is not blocked and has enough rights to write documents on the specific folders.


When we create in the local addressbook the same account with the exact same Path-Specifications it works fine. Just not with the implemented Workflow-Scanning.

We even created a complete new profile, with a different user (who has Domain-Admin-Rights) but still the same issue. Problem is just in the Workflow_Scanning function, not when we scan with the local addressbook and with the option Scan_to.

We use SMB as protocoll.

Any help in this issue would be appreaciated.
