That isn't even close to the latest firmware, update it and see if it resolves, the Altalink (C8055) and Connectkey (7835) products at current levels are identical with exception to visual elements, the code base is the same, so assuming they are set the same way, if one works they both will.
If the firmware doesn't fix it the next step would be to check the time on the AltaLink (If it is off by 3 or more minutes it will fail to scan)

I have problem with workflow scaning on Xerox C8055 - it allways get error about credentials.
We have Xerox 7535, 7835 and 6515 - all devices working with same swetting and scanning working but on new device not working with same setting. We working in domain and use for scanning domain user. Server working on Windows Server 2008 R2. Port 445
