Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for installing the scan drivers and make sure you have followed all the steps. You may want to uninstall the driver, turn off the PC and then turn it back on and reinstall using the instructions in the solution. If you continue to have an issue please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
The 3220 is connected via USB to a Windows 7 64-bit scanning via SMB. I have not been able to decipher a pattern but the user goes to scan and it seems that the software comes up saying it is connecting but next does.
We try unplugging the USB cable, powering the unit on and off, stopping the process in Task Manager. And after that the computer will not communicate with the MFP. It won't print or scan. The only thing that clears it up is rebooting the comptuer.
