WannaCry is a PC problem, not a printer problem.
They probably have an IP filter setup to disallow anything not sourced from a (or a few) specific IP addresses.
Hello team, I created a separate network between xerox 3550 and my personal laptop and the printer works. The question is what setting did the domain admin changed in the network so the xerox 3550 don't work? Is there something to do with the Wannacry ransomware attack?
Hi, i don't have a print server and the firewall is disabled.
you mentioned in first post that webinterface doesnt work
are the printers in another subnet range? maybe firewall issues?
have you opened 9100 and 515 port? from server to xerox machine? (if you are printing from a server)
Hi Fabio, the problem persists. I have done what you said but the printers don't work.
I forgot to mention that I have a xerox 3315 and is working in the network.
Hello team, I have 7 Xerox 3550. All xerox machines are connected using network cable and have the IP reserved. They do not print. I send ping command and they respond. I tried to access the web interface but don't respond. In control panel the printers appears offline, also the network scan show the printers disconnected. The printers are in different locations of the network. In configuration page the Ip, DNS and Gateway appears configured. Using the usb cable the printers work. Where is the problem?
