Hi TaoScotty.

Try this link.

http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-3635mfp/support/enus.html?objGUID=10002

Once there, if you don't see the following titles, type in image overwrite in the search field.

  • How to enable on demand overwrite
  • How to enable the immediate image oversrite
  • How to perform an on demand image overwrite
  • Immediate Image overwrite failed message
  • Print jobs are held for Resources Message and requesting odd paper size when printing from adobe acrobat

These should get you started.  If they don't, please call our support center at 1-800-821-2797.

Re: Xerox 3635 System freezes when Immediate Image Overwrite enabled

Hi CherylO,

Unfortunately, I do not see anything that refers to the Xerox freezing and needing to be consistantly restarted after the Image Overwrite is enabled. Is there any other Xerox forum you might point me to?

Xerox 3635 System freezes when Immediate Image Overwrite enabled

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I've updated the Firmware to the latest version.
When I enable "Immediate Image Overwrite" or "Sceduled Image Overwrite," the printer becomes un-usable and freezes. I have to power down the printer and power back up to restore its functionality. Has anyone else experienced this and know what may be the issue with this?

Tao
