Xerox 5024 Scan to E-mail stopped working (016-781)

Hi everyone, our Xerox stopped sending "scan to e-mail" a week ago and dont know what else to do. I checked the mail and MX configuration and its everything the same. I tried to use SMTP AUTH method but didnt work (we use direct send as per this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/mail-flow-best-practices/how-to-set-up-a-multifunction-dev...) and the firewall report that the packet was succesfully sent to the server address. I also tried to use another SMTP server and didnt work either. The error that appears is 016-781. Momentarily i set up a Scan to Server share so we are good, until i resolve this.
