We had the same issue with our new Windows 8 OS and our old Xerox 510 Wide Format
You must DISABLE the Windows 8 Driver Signature Enforcement to use some of the Xerox drivers.
Do the following:
Windows Key + R (brings up RUN command)
type in shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00
Click OK
Windows will Restart
Select "TROUBLESHOOT"
Select "ADVANCED OPTIONS"
Select "WINDOWS STARTUP SETTINGS"
Click RESTART
System will restart to "Advanced Boot Options" screen
Select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
System will start and you can install your printer with the appropriate driver.
Good Luck!
Hey you!
Im not really sure what you mean by this "it will not see the IP address of the Printer and does not finish adding the Printer."?
What if you add the port manually?
If the win vista driver does not work, you're probably out of luck.
You can also try the global driver or the generic driver.
Best Regards

We have just upgraded to Windows 8. We have succesfully installed the Accxes Client Tools and it scans and prints plt files with no issue. However, when I attempt to install the drivers (Win 7 64bit) for regular printing and plotting from Autocad, (using Add a Printer in Devices and Printers) it will not see the IP address of the Printer and does not finish adding the Printer. I tried the Vista 64bit driver as well with the same result. If I enter the IP address from Explorer, I can see the Printer with no problem. What the world? Help
