Did you not actually check my link? It is a firmware 2 years newer than what you listed.
As I wrote, I already update my printer firmware to last one.
I will try to use smtp2Go, and I will keep you informed ! Thanks !
016-507 is an invalid login, usually due to an invalid response(logs in, but doesn't understand the response and quits), which is what would happen if the server uses a protocol the printer doesn't. support. If that is the case,try a firmware update to get whatever update may be needed, else SMTP2Go should work.
We have this printed for several years. SMTP settings was good, and everything worked fine.
But since september, 05, 2018, it's impossible for us to scan by mail. We get 016-507 error.
We used private smtp (not GAFA ;-) )
So I try :
- to change smtp server (I tried with office365) => KO
- to change smtp server with no authentication => KO
- to update firmware to 201604180657 => KO
It's quite difficult to follow what's happen, because I don't have access to logs ..
Could you help me please ?
