The laser was changed yesterday, started working and the 240 volt installed also. Thanks all.
A guy came in to check and concluded the laser is bad due to pluging it into a low voltage port (110)
ordered the laser already, waiting till Monday or Tuesday to fix it. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks
Not a good experience to start this printing job but...
I would think that the yellow developer housing not turning would be the most likey cause.
I have called 3 technician, they all seems not to know what to do.
Please can someone refer me to any technician in Houston Area that can fix this please.
It doesn't seem like the issue would only affect yellow. But until the power is fixed I would not try running the machine at all anyway, you blow the power supply in that thing and you will be out a lot more than the $750. Even if it appeared to run fine, even trying it with the wrong supply line is a terrible idea.
So unplug it and step away, don't even leave it plugged in until the power is sorted out, if you cause electrical damage to that thing the $750 won't even be a drop in the bucket after the bill you would get to fix a massive power failure.
And make sure the electrician knows these are the specs required.
Voltage: 208-240 VAC minus 10%/plus6%
Frequency: 50/60 Hz plus/minus 3%
Amperage: 12 Amps
Power Consumption: 2.746 KVA maximum
I just bought a xerox 700i few weeks ago, and i works for some few days, and though still working but yellow color is missing, now the seller and i have done all the trouble shooting, printing single color, changing the tower from r1 to r2 etc, a technician he reffered to me came and did everything, yellow routor is turning, we changed the yellow cartrige to another area it printed and the other color was changed to where yellow cartrige was and it did not print. This means the yellow drum area is having issue, now the first technician that installed the printer did not tell me i needed a 240 volt dedicated line, so i was told the yellow that was missing was due to the fact that the printer was plugged to 120 volt, i'm about doing a new 240 volt wiring in my office,
The printer is not tripping off, do you think voltage might be the reason why the yellow color is missing? i'm running cra**z as i bought this printer with all my saving, now can't work and bills are pilling. please i need urgent help, it's going to cost me another $750 to wire my office with 240 volt line.
What can i do
Thanks.
