Re: Xerox 7225 Scan to Office365 with SSL.

Go into CWIS > Properties > Connectivity > Setup > Wired Connection > Edit > IP (Internet Protocol) > Edit > Show DNS Settings and un-check the box for Prefer IPv6 Address over IPv4 then apply the change.

Then you will need to get someone else to try, the settings I listed are exactly what is needed, the firmware I linked is the latest one available and it can't be corruption because you have completely wiped the device and rebuilt it from scratch (altboot).

Re: Xerox 7225 Scan to Office365 with SSL.

Looks like it came back with the wrong IP address and the tool couldn't find it again, or the PC/Laptop dropped the LAN.

What is displayed at the MFP on screen?

If it doesn't boot up, try an Altboot from a USB key. (Data loss will occur)

Re: Xerox 7225 Scan to Office365 with SSL.

For Office365, you may have firmware too old to do SHA-2 Encryption, so before proceeding, bring the firmware up to the latest

Make sure the time is correct, if it is wrong by 3 minutes or more it will stick sending and just say "processing"

smtp.office365.com port 587, using STARTTLS (Do not choose "STARTTLS if available"). Make sure the login name and from address are identical. Also make sure both logins are set to System before you type them in.

Then go to CWIS > Properties > Services > Email > Setup and edit the From Field entry

And verify it is exactly the same as the other locations above. This field gets populated when you first setup SMTP, but does not get changed when you change the SMTP section later.
