Re: Xerox 7530 SMTP after 061.121.223.31800 upgrade...

I know this is old but we were able to fix this issue by disabling IPv6.

Re: Xerox 7530 SMTP after 061.121.223.31800 upgrade...

After digging around some more I was able to figure out that something changed within the machine following the upgrade and is blocking access to the server if it is being expressed by DNS name rather than IP.  In other words, I can get the email and server fax to go through if I put it the smtp server in as an IP4 entry but not if I enter it as a DNS name.  Is there some setting I'm missing?

Xerox 7530 SMTP after 061.121.223.31800 upgrade...

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Everything was working fine until I upgraded to 061.121.223.31800.  Now both email and server fax claim they can't reach the SMTP server even though other 7530 machines configured the exact same way on firmware revision 061.121.223.09002 work correctly.  When I try to send a fax, I get a error confirmation saying "unable to connect to remote server."  When I try to send an email I get "SMTP Server address is not available."

I have SSL enabled for an accounting device but the email and fax servers do not communicate in SSL so it is disabled for authentication with the SMTP server on both features.   I need someone to link me to firmware revision 061.121.223.09002 so I can roll it back via forced upgrade.  I have the knowledge and ability to do this correctly and I'm a xerox employee, I just don't know where to go to find old firmware.  Thanks!
