I have asked and recieved the following response from our 2nd level support center:

We don’t have a specific driver for the scanner, but we have AccXES Client Tools (ACT) that can be used to retrieve scanned documents from a AccXES Controller. The Wide Format AccXES controller connects to both the printer and scanner.
A Windows 7 Client requires version 14.01.12 ACT or higher, which 14.01.12 more than likely will be compatible with AccXES firmware installed on an older controller (I’m guessing this is what the customer has based on the printer model). A higher version of ACT more than likely will not be compatible with this customers controller .
Here’s the link for obtaining ACT from Xerox.com, it’s listed under a product other than 8830. I also recommend that the customer download the release notes and follow them closely during the installation and configuration of ACT. Once installed, the help file can be used for additional setup and configuration of ACT.

I have a xerox 8830 which I managed to find FreeFlowtm Accxes Printer Driver Version 14.0.4 that runs on Windows 7 and works the printer. Does anyone know of where I could locate scanner drivers that would do the same ?
