Xerox Color 560 does not send email

We have a Color 560 that does not send emails. I believe this used to work. I have been asked to set it up to scan to an email address. I have a Konica that does send emails. The settings are basically the same. I followed these directions except the SMTP port is 587. Configure SMTP (E-mail) Server Settings Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) (

When I test I get an error of: "Completed with error (027-777) : Server un-supports SMTP-AUTH".

Does anyone have an idea of what I might be doing wrong?
