Xerox ColorQube 8900 - Copy in black and white

Thanks AlphaCenter, is it possible to upgrade the firmware remotely or do we need to have a tech on site ? And do you know if we can find the "new features/improvements" of this upgrade ?

Yes, your firmware level should be 071.161.xxx.xxxxx, yours probably starts with 071.160...

The copy option is available from the ConnectKey firmware upgrade.

you're talking copy (not printing)?

You can change that by navigating to the webUI of the printer.

Go to Properties -> Services -> Copy -> Setup.

Change the default value of Auto Detect to Black & White

Default printing features is changed in the driver “Preferences”
Go to Start -> Devices and Printers -> Printer Preferences -> Advanced -> Printing Defaults.

Here you can change the default settings.
