Hello JesonMile,
I asked a product specialist and this is what they said:
My best guess is that there’s some issue on their PBX (internal switchboard) routing the call incorrectly for some reason, but there isn’t enough info provided to advise in detail. I can’t think of any specific issue that would lead to the device sending faxes to a different phone number than what was entered, but there’s lots of factors that could come in to play with fax issues and it’s impossible to say with any certainty what may be going on here. It would require in depth investigation by service, realistically.
I'm in a local tech support company and one of our clients is having a strange issue with their Xerox WorkCentre 6515. Sometimes when they send a fax to another location, the fax is randomly intercepted by an HP printer in-office. Xerox service for it expired and I can't for the life of me find any help online. Any ideas?
