Hi Paul,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Are you using the driver that came with Windows 8 or the one from the Xerox.com website?  Please make sure you are using the latest PCL driver from the Xerox.con website.  If this does not work please try the global driver.  If you are still unable to see the fax option please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Xerox PC-Fax and Windows 8

Installed Windows 8 (64 bit) and am cannot see a fax option in the latest PCL driver on a Phaser 6180MFP machine. Also updated to latest firmware on this machine. Everything else seems to work fine, any ideas?

 

Under printer properties on the PCL 6 driver in the Paper/Output tab, the Job Type dropdown list select doesn't have a Fax option and the "setting..." menu is greyed out. The only options are Normal Print, which works fine as well as Secure Print and Proof Print which have yellow bangs. This printer is installed via IP on a Windows 2012 server but I've also tried with a direct connect USB. Please let me know if any other info would be beneficial.
