My machine not scan via smb I've frimware 071.010.103.04401 the problem is only with win7.
Other computer with windows xp wiht the same configuration works fine.
I've a firmware problem ??
The machine give this error "UNKOWN ERROR" in the workflow scan option. Only with win7.

I upgraded to Spar release “071.010.103.23400” to solve the SMB problem with scanning. that worked, however now I don't have a compatible AirPrint dlm to install. is there any way to find an airprint patch that works with 071.010.103.23400 so I don't have to re-install the entire machine back to a 044xx verion of the firmware?
WC78xx scans to smb by default to port 445. This is the port SMB v2 uses on most modern W$ operating systems (W7, W2K8R2, W2K12).
Win XP uses port 139, change that in the scan locations repository.
Lordfarquad i think has the correct answer! I had a similar issue with a 7530/7545 running 103.04401 firmware and upgraded to the .23400 spar firmware, you can find a link here.
I have found that this solves some issues not fixed by the connectkey scan patch, it also addresses the 'scan destination locked' issue that's banging around!
