I'm really Sorry for the late response, did not see this post for some reason.

The XST is a log file generated by the machine if job logs is enabled, it can be disabled in Centreware under Scan -> Template used -> reports or report logs.

If you're using a print server, changing the settings in Start -> Devices and Printers -> Printer Preferences -> Advanced -> Printing Defaults to one sided print, on the server and then pushing the driver out to the clients will result in all clients having one sided print as the default option.

Thanks for your responds.

"workinc" is domain controller name and acb is file server that manager the printer..

mean the file server jioned to the "workinc" domain controller.....

Your step is working great my Dearest! but i need to configure the same at Adavinced Templete pool setup the same infor as you gave me.

But i really wonder when the files was send to the XeroxScan folder, i saw each files create own file name "DOC.XST"

If people here scan 100 files, it's will have DOC.XST, DOC01.XST etc.. too..

What are the files .XST mean?

P.S: One more thing,

Do we still have any option to set from this printer and force all clients are connect to this printer have paper printing set just one side?

because when i add this printer on thier each machine, the default paper size is Both Size, so when they try tp print many sheets, it's alway come with both size..and they complain so much and waste the paper.

Hi again!

Lets try this:

as Share put in : Admin        ( as this is the shared folder?)

as path put in : \XeroxScan            (as this is the subfolder path)

Now it'll look for \\<Server IP>\Admin\XeroxScan\

also, is "workinc" the domain name?

I just change something, please see in this picture..

And also here is some more detail about what i configured in this place.

ABC\Admin\XeroxScan

ABC is The name of "File Server"

Admin is the Network folder located on "File Server"

XeroxScan is the subfolder inside "Admin" folder that is the place for storing all user scan from XeroxScan

Please show me step by step of the way to set up it..

I am really thanks for your help.

Is the shared folder named "XeroxScan"?

how does ur set up look like?

as of now it looks like you have a share named "Scans" and the subfolder part is ABC\Admin\XeroxScan .. is ABC the name of the computer?

Dear All,

I have  XEROX WorkCentre 5745 that i tried to configure serveral times to set scan destination to the server..

I still not get it work and too tired...

This printer just working find with printer network..but only scanning path that alway annoy me so much..

Please let me know how to configure on that model..
