I had a similar issue and enabling all the way up to SMB 3 on the Synology worked immediately.
Hi Folks,
I know its a pain and its not the final and best Solution but anyhow I figured out on my side what stops it's working.
My Setup 6515 connected via LAN to Synology NAS.
I chnaged recently some SMB Settings and this was the case why it's failed to store the PDFs on the SMB share.
In the extended config for SMB you can determine the min and max SMB Version.
I changed the min Version from SMBv2 to "SMBv2 and Large MTU" and then it fails. Enabling only SMBv2 as min.see Image.
Version let me at least save the PDFs, but the Network browse still not works.
Hope this helps at least some of community. Reading the comments from the "Community Manager" are not realy helpful.
Cheers
I could solve this issue for myself with a workaround.
Instead of using SMB I setup an FTP-Server on my NAS. I'm glad that Xerox didnt patch out the FTP-Function aswell.
I know this workaround isn't helping everyone but if you have the possibility to setup an FTP-Server, you can use this instead.
If Xerox keeps on deadpatching "old" machines to sell new ones, I will never buy any product of them again.
Aahahahahah
i try this error code in google...
this machine is dead.. ! is a issue with lamp of scanner...
For me Xerox is over.
Please... see this video.
Hello Evenmoredave,
If you have tried all the suggestions, including the firmware updgrade, then the next step would be engaging the Service department to schedule a service call: 1-800-821-2797
Hello, is someone working on this? The problems still not solved.
Yes, we are still waiting...
Hi
Any Update ? Please contact developper for this issue
Hi,
my Xerox-Device is connected via Ethernet, not WiFi.
