no that 4096 is depending on the file size, you can move it up to 10000 if your smtp server is allowing attachments of 10 mb?

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I see under properties > email > settings > smtp server > configure > it says maximum message size 4096 kb. Can I just change this or does it depent on how much memory the machine has?

yes, you can define the email limits in size or pages....

if you logon to the webinterface, then go to smtp or email settings page..

Hi there,

We have a Xerox WorkCentre 7335 and it is often used to scan documents to email. It scans using the PDF format. Does anyone know what the file size limit is on this? Scanning a few pages is fine but if many are scanned together there is an error saying the job is too large. Is there anywhere I can check this setting etc?
