Are there any other settings we need to put in the exchange connector? I created a relay just for this printer and I copied the same settings we use for our other scanners that use anonymous relay and we still get the Unable to Connect message on the Email Settings page.
We are currently using No Authentication under Authentication Type in Email Settings.
no, then accounting doesnt seem the problem...
i have no idea why the machine is asking for a username / password when emailing...
Maybe some1 else?
Having a Xerox Workcenter 6505DN
Added it to the Anonymous group on my exchange server so that it can send emails without authentication, I have several Keyocera and HP and Canon MFP that send email through that, using port 25 and SMTP protocol,
Yet this Xerox doesnt, under email server setup - under properties * email - I put the Exchange server IP address, and had a success when I hit start, however I tried and put a dummy Ip address, and tried again, it still said success!!??
anyways my problemn is I cannot scan to email, no matter what authentication method I put, and no authentication still asks for a password which is weird!
any help would be appreciated!
