as you can tell, this is a new and unknown world to me. i hadnt realized there was a copier section of the forums and was merely trying to get this in the right location hoping that perhaps someone else who may have had the same issue might be able to assist me with my struggles.

i have asked around about getting a XEROX technician to come look at it but havent had any luck. any suggestions in the Buffalo, NY area?

TrueOutsiders, based on your response in this thread, Re: Issues with WorkCentre 7435 - Customer Support Forum (xerox.com), you do not have a service contract and as the people that watch the forums are unable to help, I doubt posting in another area of the forum will help.

It sound like you need either pay time and materials to have Xerox fix the device, find a local provider to help, or sign up for a Service contract, Xerox Services - Agreements

Xerox Workcentre 7435 issues

hello all!

i have had a Xerox Workcentre 7435 for a few years now and am only just get things working. color copies look really nice, but attempting to print black and white I get constant paper jams or if the paper does go through it prints the first 1/3 of the sheet then all the toner gets dumped onto a single strip of the paper, essentialls scrunching the rest of the original onto about 1/4" of the copy.

 

has anyone ever experienced such a thing or know what can be done about this? thanks so much for the patience as i am a new user to all of this stuff
