helldesk,
Check the Systems Administrator Guide out (http://download.support.xerox.com/pub/docs/CopyCentre_C20/userdocs/any-os/en/System_Administration_G...). On page 9-19 you will see how to configure the LDAP features with both the user interface and the web interface.

Hey!
This machine does support the LDAP address book feature.
Scott,
You are correct!
Because the "new" smtp server that you may install is inside your network, you don't need any authentication, unless is a concern for you. You can install this SMTP server that simple will redirect any send email requests from your printer to your mail server or any email server over the internet. It will use DNS to find the destination mail server.

Hi,
I'm really sorry but the M20 does not support SSL. Please read this article.
If SSL is really important for your environment, you should consider buying a more recent model. If you can live without SSL, you can install a SMTP server some where in your network. You will find several free SMTP servers on internet.

My Xerox m20i which has scanned flawlessly over our network through our exchange server now does not. We just installed an SSL certificate to our server with exchange. I do nto know if that is the problem. However, now when we try to scan it just hangs at "connecting..." and then finally seems to time out with "send Error (SMTP)". Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
