I was just told by XMedius that only base software works and XEROX is in process to release patch for current software so the question is

1) Are there any caveats with base software
2) What are the Fixes they XEROX is working on currently?
3) When is a patch expected?

Hi Jiger,

   I know that XMedius delivered via the AppGallery works on the new AltaLink models. If you're using a version that is installed differently then I can't answer this question from personal experience. You may need to disable the proximity sensor on the new machines currently to avoid unwanted characters getting entered into XMedius while you're using it though. One of my coworkers has noticed that when the proximity sensor is on moving around in front of the machine while using XMedius causes either an = or an _ to get entered into the app.

Our customer uses Xmedius Secure Fax app on their current WC5955, and wants assurance that the app will also work with an AltaLink B8155 if they upgrade their device. 

The Xerox website doesn’t list the B8155 as being compatible with XMedius.
