Re: broken centreware access from web tools

got the V 80 sorted out today

Re: broken centreware access from web tools

just a quick update

after reinstalling all the fiery system software and enabling virtually everthing on our two C75's

webtools / centreware are working again but the only way to get network scan to work again was to use FTP instead of SMB and configure from webtools still won't open and get ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

the V80 and D125 are still a bit of a mess
still no centreware on the D125
and V80 has centreware but can't login to properties

Re: broken centreware access from web tools

I did find a work around by using chrome from the fiery and enter 100.100.100.101 and straight to centreware(this doesn't work on all them)

and have full access to all of it ...but  everything was working fine till one day I got a server error tring to access any part of the templates from centreware because some machines were already going down ...everything else still was fine...then chrome did an update and late that day none of them worked at all...when opening webtools it comes up as unsafe and I have to insist it open ...tried all the browsers same result ...it's like windows 7 has become to unsafe for the modern internet

I'll check those http settings

Re: broken centreware access from web tools

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Once create a certificate or updating printer it doesn’t load WebUI showing an ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH.

If HTTPS is disable it works showing printers WebUI and if HTTPS is enable shows again error.

A workaround I found is to enable IE view within EDGE and adding printers IP it works.

This will happen with all customers with https policies.

Re: broken centreware access from web tools

Have you tried to open Webui from IE? if you dont have IE then enable IE viewing from EDGE, once you get into printers webui disable https and you will be able to see printers webui from any browser

broken centreware access from web tools

Product Name: CentreWare Web
Operating System: Not Specified

after latest chrome update going to centreware from web tools only gets you this

This site can’t provide a secure connection

xxx.xxx.x.x uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

the same results from the other browsers as well and all of our machines (D125, C75 and V80)
none of our scan templates work at all and now I can't even get to them to repair
