Re: card reader

check also your dns server, or if you use ldap, make sure it works, because you have authentication and authorization

most of the time , the machine is timing out

Re: card reader

First, update to this firmware here.

Then try logging in again, if still slow, go into CWIS > Properties > Security > Logs > Network troubleshooting > Start Session Now.

Go to the MFP and try to log on. After it does, go back to the PC, stop the capture, download it, and open in Wireshark (or another network analyzer) and see where the lag occurs in the traffic.

HI,

we use 5955 WC in VA hospital. they use PIV card in order to login. but the card reader takes up to 30 s  to let the user in  after they put the passcode.

what it could be ? why takes up to 30s ??

we check the network with it team , no issue with it .
