copy centre c 45 , c55 scanner problem

cant give you the full settings of the ftp server, you need to configure it on your server :)

the settings you need to chqnge afterwards in your repository =

smb to ftp

port 139 tp 21

server ip = server ip

share = no share

document path = subfolder in your ftp if needed

user credentials ...

the error on the xerox after transfering it give me deleted

please if u can give me the setting to set it as FTP

and give me the full steps for set the user and permissions on the 2008  server maybe i forget one of them but i think i dont but maybe there is something not yet done .

whats the actual error code you get ?

somtimes its easier to setup an ftp server to scan instead of smb

it doesnt work
and i check it with wireshark but there is a huge amount of data becouse this server is a dnsserver and its control the domain , i cant analyze it

try instead of user : xerox

user : yourdomain\xerox

if that doesnt work, you can try to make a wireshark log to see what happens in the background

Name or IP Address: IP address

port : 139

Share: scan452 (scan folden name)

Login name : xerox (user created on server for the xerox )

password (its pass)

I have 2 xerox copy centre :

copy centre c45

copy centre c55

i set its network scanner on machine with windows xp

but now i need to se it to server with windows server 2008

and it always failed to scan i dont know why .

the server is with windows server 2008 and the network type is a domain network .
