ldap only pulling one connection settings for scanning

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We have ldap up and running. We have two connections in the LDAP, one for customers in the X side of the business and one with customers in the Y side of business. ( it is split out cause we could not get the root of AD to work, so we had to specify OU's. The root would freeze and not come back with any information) So they are split out with X being the first ldap connection and Y being the second in the list.

Anyone can login and authenticate whether they are in group X or Y. But when group X logs in they can scan to their home drive with information that is pulled from AD. However when Y logs in they can not scan to thier home drive. You get a message that says invalid location please see SA.

on the trouble shooting side. if I replace group Y to be first in the ldap setup then their information will pull and X's will not. Am i missing something. if it works for one group it should work for the other esp since i know the LDAP connection works. when i test LDAP it pulls all the information from group Y just like it does with X.
