Re: network scan connection failed workcentre 133

Hey you!

The printer does not support Windows 7, as the scanner utility is for XP that might be the problem.

Best Regards

network scan connection failed workcentre 133

Product Name: WorkCentre Pro 133

we just reformatted an old Dell optiplex with windows 7. user previously had XP. reinstalled 5.4 networkscan/mailbox viewer.

everything is configured correctly but when its go time and we select scanner in mailbox viewer it states the connection failed.

i am not sure how to trouble shoot it and our IT support is more IT than support in the matter as they have it on their classic "we dont support that program list"

seeing as that we are on a domain. is it the security policy blocking it? or the fact that we now use a global driver to install the printer from the network?

help. please. thank you.
