Re: network scan templates for 4112 with fiery

If you made the 4112 printer match the 700 Fiery you very much broke it.

The IP of the 4112 should be 100.100.100.101

Subnet 255.255.252.0 and Gateway 100.100.100.102

Realistically it should just be on DHCP/A at all times, unless it is hookend up on a switch, in which case the Fiery templates are not used, you would be creating the templates in CWIS, which does not exist on the 700.

Re: network scan templates for 4112 with fiery

Try another web browser for the freezing issue.

The templates on the 700 can only be on the Fiery since it has no internal controller, and since the 4112 has a Fiery, then those templates will work just fine.

So in the 700 Webtools choose Export

1.GIF

Then save to desktop, and go to the 4112 Fiery and import them.

But if you made changes to the default repository on the 4112, you broke the connection for scan to the Fiery, if that is the case you would need to reset the 4112.

And if you are using Hostnames instead of IP addresses, the Fiery needs to have DNS set. Which is done via CWS5.

Server > Configure

Network > Protocol > TCP/IP > DNS

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello all

we have made templates in the web tools but  they don't show up on the copier

tried to install the centreware to edit the default templates but our verson of windows 8.1 doesn't have windows authentication and hangs up the install

we have a 700 that the scanning works fine with and have made all the network setting on the 4112 match it to no avail
