network scan wont find my computer xerox 3210

i am sorry man, still not working, 

at home i have hp printer, and everything is working just fine (i use it to scan allso).

to bad, the xerox do a good job (when it works) i dont know maybe its somthing with the network scan program

I was thinking that maybe it could be that KB released a while ago.

Do you have KB2887595 installed? if not try to install that one.

What type of login do you use to access your pc from ur printer?

Could it be that you're using an email address?

but the SMB1 was enabled, i tried to disable and anabled again, still not working

Hmm, then it has to be something on the win 8.1 pc,  the only thing I can think about is the SMB version being used?

I think SMBv1 is being used on 3210 while it might be disabled on the win 8.1 pc.

Try enabling "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" under "Control Panel\Programs and Features\Turn Windows features on and off" does that work?

yes i have another computre that have win 8 (not 8.1) and everything work fine with the network scan.

can the other computer access any folders ?

If so we can go from there, and it might not be the set up on the pc.

Have you tried setting up scan to another pc which doesn't use win 8.1? does that work?

thanks for replying man,

i tried everything, "file and printer sharing" is on.

i disabled the firewall.

i removed the macfee software from my computer.

nothing help, it dosent find my device evem if i put the i.p adress.

i realy dont know what else to do.

i can print but i can not scan.

Does another printer or pc find your new computer on the network?

Have you tried turning on "File and Printer Sharing"?
