It seems you're having several different issues with the printer; you haven't been able to scan or copy. What happens when you try, is there an error message or fault code displayed? For the fax line picking up all activity even phone calls, is the line you are using a dedicated fax line? I've included instructions on how to disable the banner page that prints each time.

I recently bought a Phaser 8560MFP at auction, nice clean machine, owner told me personally the machine worked great. Got it to my office, hooked it up to my Win 10x64 PC using the USB connection, made the installation using the install disc. I was able initially to print 3 jobs, but that has now quit working but I have never been able to scan or copy. I have received one incoming fax. Since then any incoming phone calls are immediately answered by the fax portion of the machine if the phone wire is left connected. And the machine prints a test page everytime it is powered on.
