Hi lhc,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. I have reviewed the scan solutions for your machine.  Please take a look at this solution for scanning to an application and see if this is what you are looking for.  I am not sure you can scan to Word the way you want to please consider contacting your support centre for further information.

phaser 3300mfp unable to scan from within word

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I'm using Word 2003 and when I try to insert an image from the phaser 3300mfp

I get an error "scanner device is not responding please check device is turned on

and connected" Is this even possible?

 

This all in one is set up as a network printer. I can scan from the scanner to the computer

I installed the WIA program from Xerox. Likewise, the network scan program is installed.

 

Any suggestions?
