Re: pop3 access

Not a lot of activity here, huh?

To summarize... can the 7120 check a POP3 account and print the results?

pop3 access

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a 7120.  I'm hoping to be able to send efaxes from the printer, that's the easy part.  I'd also like to be able to get fax confirmation reports.  That part seems easy too...  I just have an email account setup for the printer and efax sends the confirmation reports to that email account.

The documentation (and the configuration for that matter) imply that the printer can check a pop account and print the email.  I've double checked the pop settings and they work.  The printer doesn't do anything.

Xerox support told me that the printer only checks "Internet Fax" emails.  I said, "Oh, and how does it know which emails are Internet Fax and which arent?"  "Headers?  I don't know."

OK.  Well, I checked the network traffic and the printer is not even attempting to communicate to the pop server.  Something seems amiss.  What am I missing?
