I had this issue as well on the 7120 and Windows XP Fax and picture viewer.
The solution was to change the TIFF compression. Could not find anywhere to do this on the web interface, but on the unit it is at: Tools / Scan Service Settings / Other Settings / TIFF Format.
There are two options: TIFF V6 (default) or TTN2.
TIFF V6 will not work with the Windows XP viewer whereas TTN2 works perfectly.
Hope this helps ...

Peter
I believe any other viewer that will read the tags will do it.
I use xnview, http://www.xnview.com/en/index.html, you should be able to open with this.
Nevertheless I didnt heard yet any issues of this kind since the 7345 and lower. Like Fabio advised you might want to have a look at the TIFF compression
(CWIS>Properties>Services>E-mail>Setup>Compression>TIFF Settings (Color Compression)),
or even try using TIFF mpages.
I have seen that issue before. You may find that they are viewable if black and white is selected.
The only color TIFF fix I've seen work consistently is to download a different TIFF viewer for the XP workstations. You'll find a Xerox Tiff viewer within the XP drivers and downloads for the WorkCentre 7345 product.
i dont the setting out of my head , but if you login to the device and you go to tools and then scan settings , there is an option about tiff compression version , you need t change that to v2 or something... then it will work...
Hello -
Quick Details:
Devices: Xerox 7556, Xerox 5775 and Xerox 5150.
Clients: Windows XP and Windows 7
Issue: Windows XP users that attempt to preview/open scanned docs - specifically TIFs, they receive a message within Fax and Picture viewer that reads "No Preview Available" This issue occurs when the scans are performed from either the Xerox 7556 or 5775. These same users do not have any issues with previewing the TIFs that were scanned from the Xerox 5150.
Windows 7 clients do not experience this issue.
Any assitance provided would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Anthony
