Re: "Start is not available" 7845

You are never to be in Diagnostics mode, it is for Engineers and technicians, if you are one, you know where to get the updated directions.

I am the technician, I tried to log in using the same method(before upgrade) and it give me the above error, Also the machine freezes at that point and i have to reboot, I had a look in the edocs and i cant see anything...

Then post on the internal forums, Diagnostic mode cannot be posted on the public facing forums, it is considered confidential information

Re: "Start is not available" 7845

The internal forums are available only to Xerox employees, they become available only when you or your manager request access from the admins (Not me).

As with any webpage you sign into your username would need to reflect you are a Xerox employee if you are going to do anything in relation to a Xerox product.

The format is:

FirstNameemp#-company

So I am Joe053204-xrx because I am a direct employee of Xerox

You should find anything you need here to get internal access.

Your job defines what Forums you have access to internally, there is one for Hardware techs, one for Xerox Analysts and one for 3rd party/Agency Analysts.

Previous versions of spars are not simple to get, the latest spar link stays the same, new versions replace the old ones. Old ones are archived, and can be found on the GSN, and some devices have other means to source specific versions, but the only thing publically available are General releases, Latest spar is publically available but not indexed (Cannot be found by search engine, must have the link).
