scan file opening problem

Hi, that is not a printer problem but a MS problem. The XP doesn't support the TIFF variation produced by the device. I'm not sure but  remember something related with Kodak that was removed from fax viewer after SP1 I thnk.

The easy solution is to find other program that can read the file, like Irfanview or other. Try to google about it and you will find a lot of programs.

Cannot open a Colour Tiff file formatt  using XP picture and fax viewer and MS office Picture Manager when scan from WC 7665 or Wc5645,Wc5745.

Able to open the file using Microsoft Office Document Imaging but the requirement is for it to be opened using the 2 above programs that was used for the application that we are using able to recognize the TIFF document.

All our PC are running on a Windows XP Professional SP3 Platform
