scan : start not available: no template selected

Product Name: WorkCentre 3655i
Operating System: Windows 10
i have the printer connected to pc, i can print but i can't scan, all the solutions i found online require the workcentre 3655i to be connected to the internet , is there any way to scan without using internet?
