Hi,

75 it means it is 7 Spar from 2015.

68 it is 6 Spar from 2018.

073.030.075.34540 or  073.030.068.33100 ?

Please forgive me for being confused.  073.030.075.34540 appears to be NEWER than 073.030.068.33100 (75 being greater than 68)
And, 073.030.075.34540 was showing as the latest firmware for WorkCentre 7220 just a few days ago.  

I guess knowing that there's a bug and that there's a fix would be great - but I don't want to proceed with my confusion remaining.

What do you recommend we do?

What you are describing was a bug in the 073.030.075.34540 general release firmware from late 2015.

It hasn't been a problem in the 17 releases since then that I have seen.

If you are seeing this in the latest version as you stated, you would need to call Xerox and supply them with the network traces of the working and not working scans so they can see why.

Currently, the latest firmware is 073.030.068.33100

scan to folder intermittent success / failure

Product Name: WorkCentre 7220/7225
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Thiss WorkCentre 7220 has the latest firmware yet only works some of the time to scan to a network shared folder.  We have brought in a network specialist and there's been no improvement - although a number of improvements in settings and checks on settings have been done.  That it *is* successful seems to say volumes.

But, after a successful scan, the next attempt will generate: 
"Conlficting job settings - invalid path specified"

What's a sensible next step with this?
