Re: scan to pdf 3220

Hi there

Scanning the pdf files is a little bit for me.Because i am not the common user of pdf files.I have only tried a free trial for pdf viewing. But it turns out to be a wise choice to own a pdf program which supports to scan to pdf files. So i want to know is there any cheap pdf scanner which supports to scan the pdf files directly offline. Thanks for any suggestion

Re: scan to pdf 3220

I am a newbie here. I want to offer some help. But I have never tried to scan to a pdf using the tools you mentioned above. I am not a long-term user of document and image processing, so I only checked some free packages to help me scan to pdfs. But the one whose way of processing is simple and fast worked great for me. It is just one of many but I do like it because it is manual and easy to manipulate. Share with you. You can also google someone for help. I hope you success. Good luck.

Best regards,
Arron

scan to pdf 3220

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have installed a new 3220 and although the printer is set to scan to a pdf, when I scan to my pc via usb, it saves the file as a bitmap.  When I scan I do not get prompted for the scan type.  Is there some software or a setting that I have missed.  I have another unit that scans via the network and that works fine but I do get prompted for a scan type

Thanks in advance
